Mikawa Konro Grill / Hibachi Grill – 30cm (2–4 People) Black

This Mikawa konro grill is manufactured in Kamejima, Mikawa, using formed diatomaceous earth, which offers strong heat insulation and efficient fuel use. The exterior is finished in black with metal corner brackets for added stability.

Its rectangular shape provides an even grilling surface, while the raised stainless steel rack helps protect surfaces from heat and allows for airflow. The grill also features a sliding drawer on one side, used for adjusting ventilation or managing ash buildup during cooking.

Compared to ceramic or metal grills, this diatom mud grill maintains consistent high temperatures with charcoal, making it ideal for yakitori, seafood, or quick vegetable skewers.

  • Compact form with rectangular cooking area
  • Diatomaceous earth body with metal fittings
  • Front ventilation drawer for heat control
  • Includes a steel mesh grate
  • Raised base for heat protection and air circulation

To achieve optimal results, we recommend using approximately 1 kg of binchotan Japanese white charcoal per session.

*These products have general cosmetic imperfections in the diatom mud interiors.
