Santo Plate & Saikai Japanese Bowl Set
The set includes:
- One 31cm large plate
- Two 18cm bowls
The Santo 31cm large serving plate and the Saikai bowls are a perfect match in this set.
The bowls have been designed as a two-in-one set on purpose, with the patterns perfectly matched. A brown colour has been painted along the edge of the bowls with a brush.
No two bowls are exactly the same size because they are all handmade.

What is Banko ware?
Banko ware (Banko-yaki) is a type of Japanese pottery traditionally produced in Yokkaichi, Mie. As a result, it is also called Yokkaichi-Banko ware. Originating in the 18th century, it was popular in Japan.
Teacups, teapots, flower vases, and sake vessels are among the most popular items.
Nowadays, Banko ware has developed into a variety of pottery types, but still maintains the purity and simplicity of the traditional form.
