The restaurants noticed
The same tools on our shelves are used every day in the kitchens of Crown Sydney, By Sang, Ormeggio at The Spit and the Sheraton. We didn't set out to be a restaurant supplier — chefs just kept walking into the shop.
Our collaboration with Adam Liaw
We work with cook and author Adam Liaw on specially designed products, and we're a supplier to The Cook Up on SBS Food. Adam cooks the way our customers cook — every day, at home, for people he loves.
What we choose to sell
Most of what we sell comes directly from Japan and Korea — because that's where we kept finding the things we wanted to use ourselves. Mino ware plates from family potteries. Konro grills and Binchotan charcoal. Rice cookers that treat rice with the respect it deserves. Woks that get better the more you cook with them.
The boring-but-important stuff
Every product carries a full Australian warranty, and if something goes wrong, you'll be talking to our team in Sydney — the same people who pack your order. We're official Australian retailers for Yoshikawa, Kinka, Wahei Freiz, Tojiki Tonya, Aito Japan, Yamazaki and Happycall, so everything is authentic and covered.
