Care Instructions
Before First Use: To help reduce staining from food, we recommend soaking the mug in clean water for 5–10 minutes before its first use. This allows the unglazed clay to absorb moisture.
Daily Cleaning: Wash promptly after use with a soft sponge and mild detergent. It is important to wipe the mug with a dry cloth and allow it to dry completely before storing, as storing it while damp can lead to mould or unpleasant odours.
For Tough Stains or Odours: Even with careful use, stains may seep into the pottery over time. If this occurs, soak the item in a solution of 1 litre of water with 4 tablespoons of baking soda or vinegar to help reduce buildup. Note: Natural staining from regular use is part of the vessel’s unique charm.
