Kai Kitchen Meat Tenderiser
Gift Wrapping Service
Make your gift unforgettable from the moment it arrives. Our Japanese-style wrapping service transforms your order into a beautifully presented package — high-quality paper featuring traditional motifs of florals, fans, and classic geometric patterns, tissue lining to protect fragile pieces, and a coordinating ribbon finish.
$4.90 per gift wrap — one beautifully wrapped box. Our team selects the right box size for what you've bought and combines multiple items into a single box wherever they fit. Wrapping for multiple recipients? Simply add this service to your cart once for each gift.
Before You Order — Please Read
1. Not all items can be gift wrapped. Look for the "Gift wrapping available" note on the product page. Larger items such as rice cookers and konro or hibachi grills cannot be wrapped due to their size or original packaging.
2. Want only some items wrapped? If your order contains both gift items and self-purchases — say, 10 items but only 5 are gifts — please leave a note in the order instructions at checkout telling us which items to wrap. Alternatively, email us after placing your order, or place your gifts as a separate order.
3. Need more than one box? Each gift wrap covers one box (largest 43.5 × 31 × 15 cm — roughly wok-size). If your items won't fit in a single box, we'll contact you before dispatch — you can either add another gift wrap ($4.90 per additional box) or have your order split differently.
How to Add Gift Wrapping
- Look for the "Gift wrapping available" note on eligible product pages.
- Add this Gift Wrap service to your cart — once for each gift / box you'd like wrapped.
- Include your personalised gift message in the order instructions field at checkout — we'll add it to a card inside the package.
- We'll choose the right box, wrap with care, and include a gift invoice that shows the contents without any pricing.
Our Gift Boxes
We use four standard box sizes. Our team selects the most suitable one for your order.

Kai Kitchen Meat Tenderiser
This Japanese-designed tool uses a series of sharp, stainless steel blades to cut through tough muscle fibres in meat. This process not only softens the texture but also allows marinades and seasonings to penetrate more deeply, resulting in more flavourful and evenly cooked dishes.
What's Included
- 1 x Kai Kitchen Meat Tenderiser
Key Features
- Tenderises Without Pounding: The sharp blades effortlessly slice through tough sinew and muscle fibres, tenderising the meat without flattening it like a traditional mallet.
- Enhances Flavour: The small channels created by the blades allow marinades, spices, and heat to penetrate the meat more effectively for faster, more even cooking.
- Hygienic & Easy to Clean: The tool is ingeniously designed to be fully disassembled, allowing you to thoroughly clean each part and ensure optimal food safety.
- Ergonomic & Safe Grip: The handle and thumb rest are designed for a secure, non-slip grip, allowing you to apply firm, even pressure safely.
How to Use & Clean
To Use:
- Place your cut of meat on a cutting board.
- Press the tenderiser firmly down onto the meat, using the handle and thumb rest for a secure grip.
- Repeat across the entire surface of the meat.
To Clean:
- Push the pressing plate into the tool.
- While the plate is inserted, remove the grip and thumb rest.
- Separate all parts for easy and thorough cleaning. Ensure parts are completely dry before reassembling.
Care & Safety
- The blades are extremely sharp. Handle with care during use and cleaning.
- This tool is for tenderising meat only. Do not use for other purposes.
- Wash and dry thoroughly after each use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
