Mikawa Konro Grill - Medium 38cm Red
The Mikawa Konro Grill—often known as a hibachi grill in Australia—is a popular choice in Japanese restaurants and a fantastic, accessible alternative to ultra-premium Okunoto grills.
Sized for groups of 4-6 people, its durable steel exterior protects a thick interior of natural diatomite. This material provides superior heat insulation, ensuring your charcoal burns efficiently for consistently juicy and flavourful results.
Key Features
- Excellent Heat Performance: The diatomite interior provides exceptional insulation, focusing heat on the grilling surface. A grill of this size typically requires around 1kg of binchotan per session.
- Durable & Stable: Features a red steel exterior with reinforced metal corners and a stable base for safe tabletop use.
- Rectangular Cooking Surface: The 38cm length is ideal for lining up yakitori skewers or grilling whole fish and vegetables.
- Included Mesh: Comes with one reusable 38cm grill mesh to get you started.
Please Note
This grill is made with a natural diatomite mud interior. Minor cosmetic imperfections, such as small chips or an uneven texture, are a normal characteristic of the material and do not affect the grill's performance.
