Shichita Mino Yaki Cat Hyouretsumon Pattern Bowl - 13.5cm

This bowl from the Shichita Mino Yaki series combines the playful charm of a cat motif with the time-honoured Hyouretsumon pattern—a fractured-ice design symbolic of renewal and clarity in Japanese tradition. Rendered in deep Gosu-iro blue, the indigo tones are built up in layers to achieve a rich, expressive finish that highlights the feline figure mid-sprint, full of character and charm.

Each piece is crafted in the Mino region, known for its centuries-old ceramic heritage. The softly curved form and subtly rippled surface give the bowl an organic feel, making it as tactile as it is delightful to look at.
