This large 24cm saucepan is crafted from durable, nickel-free 18-0 stainless steel, making it an excellent choice for those with nickel sensitivities.

Generously sized for cooking family meals, this pan is perfect for large batches of dashi stock, boiling pasta, or making soups. A convenient steel helper handle provides extra stability when lifting and pouring, making it a practical and essential tool for any busy kitchen. It's a responsive and versatile pan compatible with all cooktops, including induction.

Key Features

  • Two-Handle Design: Features a long wooden handle for general use and a small helper handle for extra support and stability when lifting a full pot.
  • Embossed Tsuchime Pattern: The unique hammered (tsuchime) pattern helps to conduct heat effectively and reduces the chance of boiling over.
  • Dual Pouring Rims: Features pouring spouts on both sides for easy, drip-free pouring for both right and left-handed users.
  • Internal Volume Markers: Clearly marked measurements inside the pan allow for accurate measuring without extra cups.
  • Important Note on Use: This pan is designed for boiling and simmering. It is not recommended for stir-frying or deep-frying.

A Note on the Wooden Handle

The natural wood handle is attached with a screw and can be replaced if ever needed. Please check the screw periodically and tighten it if it becomes loose. It is normal for the wood near the pan to darken slightly from heat over time.
