Yoshikawa Cook-Pal Ren Nitrided Carbon Steel Induction Frypan - 26cm

The 'Ren' series frypan is crafted by Yoshikawa in the renowned Tsubame-Sanjo region of Japan. This 26cm pan undergoes a special high-temperature nitriding process, which creates an extremely hard, rust-resistant, and durable surface.

This advanced treatment provides an excellent foundation for seasoning, allowing you to build a naturally non-stick patina more easily than with standard carbon steel. It is a premium tool designed for a lifetime of exceptional cooking.

What's Included

  • 1 x Yoshikawa Cook-Pal Ren Frypan Body - 26cm
  • 1 x Wooden Handle

Key Features

  • Premium Nitrided Carbon Steel: The steel undergoes a special nitriding heat treatment, creating a hardened, corrosion-resistant, and durable surface.
  • Excellent Heat Performance: The 1.6mm carbon steel is highly responsive, heating quickly and evenly for precise temperature control.
  • Detachable Wooden Handle: The handle can be removed for compact, easy storage.

Care and Maintenance
Before First Use: Season with Oil
  • Wash the inside and outside of your frying pan or wok with dish soap.
  • Pour oil into the pan to fill about 1/3 of its capacity and heat on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the oil to a suitable container and spread evenly inside the pan using oil basting set or paper towels.
  • We suggest using an oil basting set and a charcoal oil filter pot to properly maintain your carbon steel cookware.
When Finished Cooking
  • Transfer leftovers to a separate container and do not use the frying pan or wok for storage.
  • Wash the pan with warm water and a scrub sponge, but do not put it in the dishwasher.
  • Rinse the pan and wipe it dry.
