When the pot is sealed in vacuum mode after cooking, the pressure difference helps to infuse seasonings and sauces deep into the ingredients. Simple Steps for Vacuum Cooking
- Place the lid on the pot and lock the side handles.
- Cook your meal as normal. The lid can be opened at any time during this stage.
- Once cooked, turn off the heat. The pot will automatically enter vacuum mode, creating an airtight seal.
- When ready to serve, simply press the silicone button on the lid to release the vacuum seal (a hissing sound is normal).
Care Instructions
- Dishwasher safe. However, hand washing is recommended to prolong the life of the nonstick coating and silicone seals.
- Use low to medium heat to protect the ceramic surface from damage.
- Use wooden or silicone utensils to avoid scratching the coating.
- Not oven safe.
- Not microwave safe.
