The design is inspired by 'Hare to Ke'—a Japanese concept of balancing the special (hare) with the everyday (ke). Its elegant white glaze and simple form create a tool that is beautiful enough to use as a serving bowl, yet practical enough for daily use.

About Iwami Ware
