The 180mm cleaver is a solidly constructed authentic cleaver. With its full-tang construction, the metal part penetrates all the way through the handle, making it well-balanced and durable.
Background
The cleaver is made in Seki city, a small town in Gifu-Prefecture that produces fine knives like Solingen in Germany. Since the 13th century, Seki city has been the heart of the Japanese cutlery industry. For more than 100 years.
