- Traditional, Non-Nitrided Steel: This wok is crafted from pure carbon steel without a nitriding treatment, allowing it to season beautifully and deeply with traditional care.
- Dual Pouring Rims: Convenient pouring spouts on both sides of the wok allow for easy, drip-free pouring of sauces and liquids for both right and left-handed users.
- Induction Compatible: The stable, flat base ensures optimal performance on all cooktops, including induction, gas, and electric.
- Made in Japan: A testament to quality Japanese craftsmanship and materials.
Seasoning & Care
As a traditional carbon steel wok, it requires seasoning to create its natural, non-stick surface. Because this wok is not nitrided, it requires prompt and thorough drying after every wash to prevent rust. This is a normal characteristic of pure carbon steel and is part of the traditional care process. For detailed instructions on how to build and maintain the patina, please see our comprehensive user guide.
