Care and Maintenance

Before First Use: Season with Oil
  • Wash the inside and outside of your frying pan or wok with dish soap.
  • Pour oil into the pan to fill about 1/3 of its capacity and heat on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the oil to a suitable container and spread evenly inside the pan using oil basting set or paper towels.
  • We suggest using an oil basting set and a charcoal oil filter pot to properly maintain your carbon steel cookware.
When Finished Cooking
  • Transfer leftovers to a separate container and do not use the frying pan or wok for storage.
  • Wash the pan with warm water and a scrub sponge, but do not put it in the dishwasher.
  • Rinse the pan and wipe it dry.
  • Season it with a tablespoon of oil before storing.

Read the entire instruction manual before first use, which is available in English with a QR Code.

Awesome!

The wok is amazing, to cook chineses food you need this wok, not joking, as a Chinese I haven’t been cooking the Chinese flavour without a wok in the past 🤭 Japanese’s steel work has made Chinese food passible 🥰 there shouldn’t be any conflicts between cultures, one is helping another to flourish 😍 light you induction Chinese flame within you! Doesn’t take long to master the different cooking style with the wok, the steel is so thin the wok heat up to same heat with 1/2 power sitting on your induction with normal other induction cookware, I was worried what if the wok won’t heat up enough to be a wok, it heat up the best out of all my induction ever used, the soy sauces, sake, dashi, garlic, spices’s umami came out instantly, finally I’m getting the exact Chinese restaurant flavour 🥹😭 without a wok you just not cooking Chinese food! At first I thought would take a while to master the preparing the wok with oil, that didn’t take 3 days every easy, you get a Chinese cooking Ladle, apparently Yoshikawa has one going to get that next, you use the ladle scoop the oil in and pour down from around the edge, the more you do the faster you get. The preparation of wok don’t take long anymore, every dish become a Chinese sensation OMG
