Our story
- We open in Chatswood, stocking the Japanese cookware we wanted to use ourselves.
- The online store launches, and we begin buying directly from makers in Japan — Mino ware potteries, konro grill and binchotan producers, and makers of rice cookers, woks and saucepans.
- Sydney chefs start coming in. Crown Sydney, By Sang, Ormeggio at The Spit and the Sheraton now buy from the same shelves as home cooks.
