Preserving blade's sharpness
Hasegawa is the leading rubber cutting board/chopping board manufacturer in Japan. Its soft rubber cutting board cushions and absorbs the blows of your knife, thus preserving the blade’s sharpness.
Anti-bacterial
All the Hasegawa boards are anti-bacterial unlike traditional timber cutting boards that need to be sterilized after each use.
Warp and bend resistant
Wood core prevents warping and bending from long-term use and high-temp washing. It is always stable, dish-washer safe, and shows enough rigidity when in bridging.
Light in weight
Wood core also reduces weight by 50% compared to other solid rubber cutting boards. The FSB cutting board is the latest invention from Hasegawa. It incorporates a piece of wooden core inside the board and significantly enhances its rigidity. The wooden core structure reduces the weight. Hasegawa reduces the weight of 60 x 30 x 2cm rubber boards from 4.5kg to only 2.6kg.
