The gaskets are made from a special silicone material designed to resist high temperatures and pressure, ensuring a tight seal for pressure baking.

It is recommended to change the silicone gasket every one to two years, depending on usage. Smoke leaking from the sides of the pan is a common indication that the gasket needs replacement.
