Green Life Stainless Steel Konro Grill Starter Set - 39cm

This starter set features the Green Life Konro, a modern stainless steel grill ideal for groups of 4–6 people.

Often known as a hibachi grill in Australia, its body offers a lightweight and durable alternative to traditional clay grills. The design focuses on convenience and easy cleanup, perfect for enjoying yakitori, skewers, and other grilled dishes at outdoor gatherings.

What's in the Starter Set:

Setup & Safe Use

For outdoor use only. This grill becomes extremely hot during use. Always handle with heat-resistant mitts and place on a heat-proof surface.

Setup Instructions:

  1. Attach the four handles (two for the main body, two for the charcoal cage).
  2. Place the inner metal plate at the bottom of the grill body.
  3. Fill the charcoal cage with binchotan (a grill of this size typically requires 1-1.5kg per session).
  4. Safely light the charcoal outdoors, then carefully place the lit charcoal cage inside the grill.
  5. Place the grill mesh on top.

After Grilling: Never use water to extinguish hot charcoal. Let it burn out completely or transfer to a dedicated charcoal extinguisher pot. Once cool, all parts can be washed and must be dried thoroughly before storage.

  • Diatom mud is an excellent heat insulator. Walls of the grill are over 5cm thick.

Use and Maintenance

  • Avoid carbon monoxide poisoning. Always grill outdoors in well-ventilated areas. 
  • Take proper care to extinguish the fire. Do not use water. If water is absorbed, diatom mud becomes brittle. It will also lose its durability.
  • When cleaning the grill, do not use water. Instead, gently remove the ash and food residue.
