The JPW-G10A is our best-selling Tiger rice cooker, and the most accessible made-in-Japan IH model we stock. It takes a different route to great rice from most IH cookers: a far-infrared, three-layer ceramic-coated inner pot that cooks the way a clay pot does, radiating heat evenly into every grain to draw out the rice's natural sweetness. Ceramic-coated inner pots are still genuinely rare in Australia.
The Premium setting doubles the soaking time to draw out extra sweetness and aroma, and 16 menus run from multigrain and porridge to soup and cake. This is the cooker for anyone who wants IH rice quality without the premium-IH price. Also available in a 10-cup size (JPW-G18A).
