Awasaka Kotohogi Fuku Radial Deep Plate - 23.5cm

The Awasaka Kotohogi Fuku Radial Deep Plate is built around an auspicious centrepiece — the Japanese character for Fuku (good fortune) — from which bold radial lines extend outward, evoking the petals of a chrysanthemum, a traditional symbol of longevity and rejuvenation. The result is a striking design that carries both visual impact and cultural meaning.

At 23.5cm in diameter with a generous 5cm depth, the plate is well suited to saucy main courses such as pasta, curry, and stew, as well as shared serving dishes at the table. A scalloped flower-shaped rim adds a traditional elegance to the bold, graphic aesthetic.

  • Microwave & dishwasher: Most of our tableware handles both, but pieces with gold or metallic accents should stay out of the microwave — check each product page.
  • First use: A quick wash in warm water is all new pieces need.
  • Stacking: Place a cloth or paper between stacked pieces to protect glazes from scratching.
  • Stubborn stains: A soak in warm water with a little baking soda lifts tea and coffee stains gently.
