The Bistro Master's ("Bistro Sensei") Kitchen Steaming Cloth is a non-stick polyester mesh cloth that makes steaming and rice cooking effortless. Unlike traditional cotton cloths, the mesh weave prevents glutinous rice and dumplings from sticking, so there is less waste and easier cleanup.

Ideally sized for 1-sho (approx. 1.5kg of rice), it fits steamers and bamboo baskets for making Sekihan (red rice), shumai, and steamed vegetables. It can also be used inside a rice cooker to keep rice from sticking to the inner pot, or as a breathable net for making dried vegetables and fruits.
