The Marujyu Wooden Spoon is cut from natural wood and finished with a two-tone urushi lacquer coating: a darker handle and a lighter bowl, with the grain showing through both. The handle has a light mesuri texture that gives the fingers something to hold, and the long curve keeps the hand clear of the rim.

At 23.5cm it is long enough for a donburi or ramen bowl and still comfortable for rice or dessert. Pair it with your Japanese tableware for a plain, warm table setting.
