Shichita Mino Yaki Cat Hyouretsumon Pattern Plate - Gosu Blue

This plate from the Shichita Mino Yaki series combines the playful charm of a cat motif with the time-honoured Hyouretsumon pattern—a fractured-ice design symbolic of renewal and clarity in Japanese tradition. Rendered in deep Gosu-iro blue, the indigo tones are built up in layers to achieve a rich, expressive finish that highlights the feline figure mid-sprint, full of character and charm.

Each piece is crafted in the Mino region, known for its centuries-old ceramic heritage. The asymmetrical rim and subtly rippled surface give the plate an organic feel, making it as tactile as it is delightful to look at.

This plate is available in two versatile sizes, 13cm and 16.5cm. Please select your desired size.
