My Cookware Yoshikawa Yukihira Saucepan

Yoshikawa Yukihira Induction Saucepan with Lid - 16cm

It is a 16cm Yoshikwa Yukihira stainless steel sauce pan with a lid set. There are 2 types of lids: the original Yoshikwa stainless steel lid and the generic Aiko glass lid with wooden knob.

There is an embossed pattern on the Yukihira stainless steel sauce pan. The saucepan is lightweight, weighing less than 400g, and has a screw-on wooden handle. Replaceable wooden handles are available. There is a pouring rim on both sides.

The product is made in Japan.

What is Yoshikawa Yukihira?

The Yukihira stainless steel saucepan can be found in nearly every Japanese household and professional kitchen. The pan is lightweight and easy to maintain.

Moreover, the Yukihira has long been considered essential cookware for the preparation of Japanese foods such as stock soup, sauce, porridge, noodles, or boiled eggs.

  • Inside the pan are marks that indicate volume.
  • The embossed pattern helps conduct heat and reduces spillover.
  • Good for making soup, sauce, porridge, noodles, or boiled eggs.
  • Not recommended for stir-frying or deep-frying.

This is a reputable Yoshikawa design. Made in Japan.

Yoshikawa Yukihira Induction Saucepan with Lid - 16cm

Loving this little beauty

Quality saucepan. Great for cooking noodles and other little one pot wonders. I purchased mine with the glass lid.

Absolutely the best little saucepan for porridge. Haven’t tried it for anything else. Would highly recommend. Lovely workmanship.

Awesome product made in Japan

The delivery was quick and the quality of the item was pretty good. The only downside was the user manual that was in Japanese so I had to use Google translate. Overall this product is awesome. The 16cm one is perfect for making miso soup or when you need to blanch some snap peas but don't want to use too much water. It's also perfect for cooking a late night snack ramen, the ramen fits perfectly in the pot so you can just eat from the pot when it's done, so there's less washing.
