What is Happycall?
Happycall is a Korean cookware maker founded in 1999, and one of the best-known cookware brands in Korea. It made its name with a single product: the Double Pan, a hinged twin pan that seals closed so food can be flipped in one motion — no spatula, no splatter. The pan became a fixture in Korean home kitchens and carried the brand into markets across Asia and beyond.
Why is Happycall a leading brand in Korea?
Korean home cooking is hard on nonstick cookware — high heat, constant stir-frying, and dishes like kimchi jjigae that are acidic and cooked often. Brands compete on how long a coating actually lasts under that use, and Happycall built its position by treating the coating as the product: each generation — diamond-particle coatings, then graphene-infused and titanium-reinforced surfaces — aimed at harder wear and longer life rather than a new look. That focus, plus the Double Pan's head start, keeps it among the brands Korean households reach for first.

Every coated range is a consumable: kept off high heat and away from metal tools, the surface gives its best years of service, and the pan is priced to be replaced rather than restored when it finally wears. The Stay stainless range is the exception — nothing to wear off, but no nonstick release either.
From Happycall to HC
Some newer stock carries "HC" on the box and the pan base rather than the full Happycall name — the company introduced the shorter mark for international markets. It is the same company and the same factories; if your pan says HC, nothing about the product has changed.
