Ko-dehiki Japanese Neko Cat Bowl - 12cm
The Ko-dehiki Neko Cat Bowl brings a whimsical touch to the dining table. It features the traditional Ko-dehiki (powdered) technique, known for its warm, muted finish that resembles soft white powder on clay. Adorable Neko (cat) faces encircle the exterior, adding a playful element to the rustic aesthetic.
Measuring 12.3cm in diameter, this bowl is the classic size for serving steamed rice, but is also suitable for small soups, side dishes, or yoghurt. The unglazed brown foot provides an earthy contrast to the smooth white slip, highlighting the artisanal quality of Mino ware.

About Kohiki Pottery
Kohiki is a style of pottery beloved for its soft, warm appearance. The technique involves covering a dark clay body with a thin layer of white slip, followed by a translucent glaze. This creates a surface that resembles white powder (Kona), offering a gentle texture and a milky white finish that allows hints of the dark clay to show through.
