Mino Yaki Yusen Chrysanthemum Side Bowl - 10.5cm - Blue
This 10.5cm Mino ware side bowl takes its fluted shape from the chrysanthemum, a traditional Japanese symbol of longevity. The interior carries a patchwork of blue-and-white motifs in the Yusen style: peony, cherry blossom, arabesque and geometric panels, each divided by fine gold lines, with a single ribbon motif on the outside.
The size suits small side dishes, pickles, dipping sauces, condiments and desserts, and the pattern sits well alongside plain white or indigo tableware.
