Zojirushi Micom Rice Cooker - 5.5 Cups (NS-TSQ10)

The NS-TSQ10 brings Zojirushi's Micom fuzzy-logic cooking to a friendlier price. While the premium models are made in Japan, this model is manufactured in a Zojirushi-owned factory in China to the company's own quality standards, and covers all the core functions most households use daily.

It is also the range's all-rounder: eight menus cover everything from white rice and porridge to brown rice, it bakes sponge and cheesecake with a dedicated Cake menu using the official recipes in the user guide, and the included basket steams vegetables, dumplings and fish. Also available in a 10-cup size (NS-TSQ18).

Good to Know

All rice cookers we stock are Australian 240V models sold with local warranty — not grey imports.

Size: capacity is measured in cups of uncooked rice. A 1-cup or 3-cup cooker suits singles and couples, a 5.5-cup feeds a household of 3–5, and a 10-cup suits larger families or batch cooking.

Heating: base-heat models are simple and affordable, induction (IH) heats more evenly for noticeably better rice, and IH pressure models are the top tier — softer, sweeter rice and better brown rice. Not sure which? Read Induction vs conventional rice cookers.
