Matsuba Ogatan Japanese Compressed White Charcoal - 3kg
Matsuba is Japanese compressed charcoal in uniform, hollow-centred logs. It gives an even heat for about two to three hours a load and suits any konro or hibachi grill.
This 3kg box is enough for about three sessions on a small konro.
Allow 30–45 minutes to light in a chimney with natural firelighters. Leftover pieces can be extinguished in a pot and lit again next time; store indoors in a sealed container.
