Touga Japanese Clay Pot Steamer Plate - 23cm (Size 9)

The Touga steamer plate sits inside a Size 9 donabe and turns it into a steamer. Food rests on the slotted clay plate above the simmering liquid, and steam rises through the slots to cook vegetables, dumplings and fish. Because the plate is Japanese clay like the pot itself, it heats and cools with the donabe.
