Pearl Life Nitrocraft Carbon Steel Induction Wok - 33cm

The Pearl Life Nitrocraft Wok is a carbon steel wok with one specific feature that sets it apart from other nitrided iron woks on the market: the fiber-line surface. The inner cooking surface is finished with a fine micro-grooved texture that distributes oil evenly across the pan, reducing sticking and accelerating seasoning build-up with every cook. The more you use it, the better it performs.

The wok is made from 1.6mm carbon steel with a standard nitriding treatment — nitrogen infused into the iron surface to improve rust resistance and durability without synthetic coatings. At this thickness it heats quickly, responds well to temperature changes, and handles the high heat needed for stir-frying and searing. The 33cm format comes with both a long handle and a short helper handle for secure two-handed control when cooking larger volumes.

Seasoning & Care

Like all carbon steel cookware, this wok requires seasoning to build up a natural, non-stick patina. For detailed instructions, please see our comprehensive user guide.

  • Before first use, season the wok by heating with a thin layer of oil over medium-high heat until it smokes lightly. Wipe clean and repeat 2–3 times.
  • Hand wash only with a soft sponge and warm water — avoid harsh detergents.
  • Dry the wok immediately after washing, preferably over heat, to prevent rust. Apply a thin layer of cooking oil before storing.
  • Avoid prolonged soaking or storing while wet.

Care and Maintenance
Before First Use: Season with Oil
  • Wash the inside and outside of your frying pan or wok with dish soap.
  • Pour oil into the pan to fill about 1/3 of its capacity and heat on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the oil to a suitable container and spread evenly inside the pan using oil basting set or paper towels.
  • We suggest using an oil basting set and a charcoal oil filter pot to properly maintain your carbon steel cookware.
When Finished Cooking
  • Transfer leftovers to a separate container and do not use the frying pan or wok for storage.
  • Wash the pan with warm water and a scrub sponge, but do not put it in the dishwasher.
  • Rinse the pan and wipe it dry.
  • Season it with a tablespoon of oil before storing.
