Pearl Life Hammered Nitrided Carbon Steel Induction Wok - 27cm
At 1.2mm this is the thinnest steel of any wok we stock, and at 0.9kg one of the lightest — built by Pearl Life to be swung one-handed through a fast stir-fry rather than to hold heat under a heavy sear. Its 13.5cm base is the classic narrow wok shape, concentrating the burner's heat for high, fast cooking.
The interior carries a hammered (tsuchime) pattern that stiffens the thin steel against warping and helps food move freely, while the nitriding treatment makes the surface more rust-resistant than untreated iron and easier to season.
